No Blog since Feb 2007

Wow i just realised that I had stopped blogging for about 1.5 years at least, guess i really dun have the discipline to keep blogging on a regular basis. well many things happened over the past 22 months.

first, we moved into our new nest in oct after many incidents. second, i had my traditional wedding dinner held @ holiday inn atrium on 3rd dec 07, followed by a short honeymoon vacation to bintan. third, i got promoted in my job in june 08 and most recently, we went to europe for about 3 weeks for our real honeymoon. well actually this honeymoon, another big major news cropped up! for the first time in my life, i'm going to be a father! this is a undescribable feeling, think the baby is coming to about 5 months old inside my wife's tummy. by end of this month, we will be able to know the gender of our baby. being father for the very first time, i bought many clothings from liverpool football store for my child during my vacation.

as 2008 is coming to an end, im looking forward to spending xmas with my friends and hope 2009 will be a better year. i also hope that i can maintain blogging on a regular basis when 2009 arrive. Ciao!

Feel so troubled, confused, frustrated...

recently heard about many rumours concerning me with regards to me at work. there are rumours of me been selected to be posted to another department. the best thing is i found out that someone from that department recommeneded to our superior that i did told him that im interested to go over there. what the fuck man! this kind of person is damn CB! i did not even mention to him that im interested to go over and he sabo me in this way. to be frank, i hate and dislike that department, the supervisor there only know how to give instruction and although its a 5-day week, u need to sacrifice your weekends and also burn a few hours after knocking off. to my despair, my own supervisor seem to be pushing me over there.

i have been in my current department for 3 years, kind of one of the senior man liao. now half of my department is filled with newbies with relatively no experience. y should my department be compromised just because the other deparment want more manpower? i don't get it and worse still, im the chosen one. i have already told my supervisor to try and fight for me but i dun feel assured at all. i feel like a lamb waiting to be sent for execurtion, just a matter of time holding onto my fate. i strongly believe in doing what you like, basically u must have the interest or liking even though u may not be very familiar of the work. there must be the interest or eagerness to learn which apparently im not having it. to push me over there is to send an unhappy worker to hell. he will rot there and eventually die. the final decision still lie with the boss, well at least i can say that if i really go over, come 2008 i will say goodbye to this organization.

hmm chinese new year is coming, in the new year, i hope to become a better person and husband. it will be a busy year for me and my wife, preparing for our wedding, renovating house etc. looking forward to those events. lastly i would like to wish all my friends happy chinese new year and may everyone be propsertous!!!

An Eventful December

december is an eventful month even though less than half a month of dec has passed by. the first event was on the 3rd of dec - my darling's graduation @ inter-continential hotel. finally after 3 years of hard work and suffering, her effort has paid off. of course a quarter of the graduate hat belong to me, well i did contributed my part as well.

next was our BIG day, 9th dec 2006. after 4 years plus of courtship, we have finally tied the knots. this day certainly doesn't come easy, it takes some detailed planning to make it a success. well at least i dare to say that the event went smoothly and every guest enjoyed themselves. we were feeling so nervous and excited before our big day and suddenly, its over already. when the music 'in love with you' for our walk-in ceremony came on, we felt so excited as we towards the front with our frenzs and relatives giving us their blessing by the side. it was an unforgetable moment. during the solemnisation ceremony, i got so nervous that when i am supposely to say "i will", i say "i do" instead. haha anyway who carez? next up was our marriage vow, both my wife and i do not know each other vow before hand. well both our vows are very touching and sweet, my dear wife cried, well perhaps mine is more touching. after the ceremony, we were so busy taking photos and my mouth nearly got cramps. once again, i would like to thank everyone for attending our big day and also to the staffs of hark music cafe. it was a wonderful experience.

finally to our honeymood @ banyan tree at bintan island. from the moment we stepped out of the ferry terminal, we are treated like VIPs by banyan tree. we feel so pampered and even though the price is a bit steep, i believe it is value for money. personally i like the ambience of our villa and of course not forgetting the massage. the food @ pasar oleh oleh is also wonderful, the black pepper crab is still on my craving list. overall this trip is a super wonderful one, and i'm sure we will be back at banyan tree again.

The Downs and Ups...

i have not been blogging for the past one week plus.. well quite a few things happened in the family. Thks god, everything is fine now and my room just got a fresh coat of paint. well in fact the stuffs in my room had a new arrangement and i quite like it. i just got myself a new sony-ericsson k800i and though i like the phone alot, i need to face a few setbacks before i could get my hands on the phone. all i can say its due to bad luck and irresponsible merchant. when customer talk nicely to you, u should appreciate and do wat u can for them and not resort them to be a fucking asshole to yell at u, then u start to move your ass around.

its nov already and its another one month to my big day. ya im starting to get anxious and excited, of course being busy too. this weekend i will finally get to see my rom suit and i have to start sending invitation to my frenzs to grace my ceremony. sorry to those whom i have left out - well its due to the capacity of the venue and of course budget too. beside the wedding, my dear and i have been going around to view houses. so far, there is one which i quite fancy but too bad my dear didn't get to view it as she can't make it that day. haiz but we will still search around to let ourselves have more choices and hopefully we can find our dream home soon.

Welcome to the couple club

just heard the news from gary that our bangala buddy, mr. alan, is attached! haha im so surprised to hear that, not that i doubt his charminess. it is because mr. alan aka excuse king seldom have time to join us in our activities, let alone getting into a relationship. but nevertheless i feel happy for him that he has joined me in the couple club even though i will be promoted to the marriage club soon. haha i just hope that more of my buddies will be joining alan and me soon. so come on buddies, for those of you who are reading my blog, time to get into action. i will be interested to see some of my buddies' future gfs... as in what type of gals my buddies will be looking for.

Farewell and all the best

29/9/06 - the day one of my colleague bid farewell to us as we are informed that she will be transferred to another department in oct. hmm well she is actually one of the pioneer in our team. though she is a female, she certainly doesn't lose out to the guys. she holds a black belt and is more gung-ho than many of us. imagine she actually dare to hold the snake by its head? though we have our differences, overall she is a nice colleague and it is quite sad that we actually learnt of her coming departaure during our last working day with her. we went for breakfast after work and had a last time chat with her. at the end of the day, i still shake hand with her and wish her all the best in her future.

if one departure is bad enough, that is not the end. i then found out that another male colleague of mine will be loaned out to another team while another female colleague from the said team will be coming over to replace my female colleague temporarily. i was quite upset with my supervisor's decision because at the moment, the team need more 'senior' men though i dun dare to say that my colleague and i are considered very senior. but the situation of my team is that there are too many 'new babies' and most of the pioneers that i known of had either resigned or transferred. surely my supervisor could have use his brain to think? nope he didn't, i believe that he just hack care about the welfare and concern of his men. cos at the end of the day, he still get his bacon home. nevertheless life still goes on, i certainly do not know what lies ahead for me in this team, should i stay or move on? only time will tell....

Hardship days are over

imf is finally over! well its back to normal, no more traffic jam in city area, no more heavy security coverage and my workload has lighten with the return of my colleagues. i have been busy mailing enquires to various hotels with regards to my chinese ceremony wedding banquet to be held next year. it take at least a year to do the booking. well most of the hotels have replied and gosh, the cheapest cost at least $800+, well wat to do? my girlfriend say its a once-in-a-lifetime event, muz make it grand. of course i agree with her, but we gonna watch our wallet too rite? i rather spend it on our honeymood to go tour around europe though. i also finally understand why people say marriage is the biggest event of their life, seriously it is not easy job to plan about for your special day. of course with money, it will do wonder and make your job easy. but i strongly believe that by planning it yourselves, it make both u and your partner even more looking forward to that special day.
talking about my liverpool, it has been a good week for them begining with a 2-0 win over gary's newcastle disunited, what a superb half court goal by alonso. then last saturday, a well-derserved 3-0 win over spurs with a rocket finish by riise. let's just hope the reds will continue the good form in champion league and epl.
im planning for a sec sch class gathering for this end of the year, so far response has been good, hopefully for those who have yet to confirm with me, will be able to join us. im really look forward to the reunion and have fun during the count-down party.
