Farewell and all the best

29/9/06 - the day one of my colleague bid farewell to us as we are informed that she will be transferred to another department in oct. hmm well she is actually one of the pioneer in our team. though she is a female, she certainly doesn't lose out to the guys. she holds a black belt and is more gung-ho than many of us. imagine she actually dare to hold the snake by its head? though we have our differences, overall she is a nice colleague and it is quite sad that we actually learnt of her coming departaure during our last working day with her. we went for breakfast after work and had a last time chat with her. at the end of the day, i still shake hand with her and wish her all the best in her future.

if one departure is bad enough, that is not the end. i then found out that another male colleague of mine will be loaned out to another team while another female colleague from the said team will be coming over to replace my female colleague temporarily. i was quite upset with my supervisor's decision because at the moment, the team need more 'senior' men though i dun dare to say that my colleague and i are considered very senior. but the situation of my team is that there are too many 'new babies' and most of the pioneers that i known of had either resigned or transferred. surely my supervisor could have use his brain to think? nope he didn't, i believe that he just hack care about the welfare and concern of his men. cos at the end of the day, he still get his bacon home. nevertheless life still goes on, i certainly do not know what lies ahead for me in this team, should i stay or move on? only time will tell....
